Time To Stretch
by Alan Kitto on July 26th, 2017

Isaiah 54:1-3
“Sing, O barren, you who have not borne!
Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
You who have not labored with child! ...,” says the Lord.
“Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare; lengthen your cords,
And strengthen your stakes.
For you shall expand to the right and to the left ...

God was speaking to those who were unproductive, barren.  He was saying: It's time to rejoice!  It's time to be expectant!
I believe It is now time for us to stretch out.
God has been doing some wonderful things within individual lives in our church, but now is the time to stretch out, to make room to grow, to outreach into our community.
August will begin a season of outreach.  Firstly, we will commence a letterbox drop around the neighbourhood.  We will start preparing for a family fun day at the back of the church in September.  Also we will join with our local Baptist and Presbyterian church to begin practicing for a combined Christmas Carols event at North Shore.
We're asking you to get involved in helping in outreaching and providing a strong church base to integrate people into our church family.
It's time to stretch!
