Beaches Community Services exist to relieve distress and bring holistic healing to disadvantaged groups in Townsville through a variety of projects listed below.
Planned Community Garden
1/2 acre of co-operative food gardens to address poverty, isolation and mental health.
Garden at 13 Mount Kulburn Drive, Jensen to include:
Gazebo, fire pit, chickens, worm farm, 146 KL water tank, 60KL water tank, 18 raised garden beds, 220m perimeter fence for vertical food growth, 70m of trellising, food forest, play ground, 8 x 10m shed, landscaped vegetable patches, composting stations.
